The Contest is only open to residents of Ontario who are 18 years and older and who live in and within a 50 mile radius of the City of Toronto. Employees (and those with whom they are domiciled) of Rogers Communications Inc. ("Rogers") and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. ("MLSE") (collectively, the "Contest Sponsors") the National Hockey League and its Member Teams, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, governors, agents, advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
There are four (4) ways to enter the Contest. To enter:
- visit the Rogers Kiosk at Air Canada Centre on the 100 or 300 level during any Toronto Maple Leafs home game on the dates indicated in the Schedule below any time from the opening of the gates until the start of the third period. Complete an original (photocopies, facsimiles or other reproductions will not be eligible) entry ballot obtained at the Rogers Kiosk and deposit the completed ballot in the designated ballot boxes at the Rogers Kiosk prior to the completion of the game.
Limit of one (1) entry per person, per game. Multiple entries by the same person on the same night will result in disqualification.

PRIZES.
There is one (1) GRAND PRIZE of round-trip for six (6) to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs play the New York Rangers in New York on Sunday February 22nd 2009 available to be won (the "Prize"). The Prize has an approximate retail value of $16,000 consisting of:
- One round-trip private jet flying for six (6) from Pearson Airport in Toronto to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Sunday February 22nd, 2009 and returning on Monday February 23rd, 2009. Flight times to be determined by Contest Sponsors.
- Limo service for six (6) from the winner’s residence to Pearson International Airport on Sunday February 22nd 2009. Limo service for six (6) from Teterboro Airport to hotel (hotel to be selected by Contest Sponsor) on Sunday February 22nd, 2009. Limo service for six (6) from hotel to Teterboro Airport on Monday February 23rd, 2009. Limo service for six (6) from Pearson Internation Airport to the winner’s residence on Monday February 23rd, 2009. All pick-up times to be determined by Contest Sponsor. Winner and guests are responsible for all costs including but not limited to, the activation on the Rogers Wireless network. Winners and guests must comply with Rogers Wireless Consumers Terms and Conditions and the user guide for the product and/or services.If winner and/or guest are existing Rogers Wireless customers, they may transfer the phone to their existing Rogers Wireless line/account. No cash substitutes.
- Six (6) tickets to see the Toronto Maple Leafs play the New York Rangers at Madison Square Gardens on February 22nd, 2009 (specific seating to be determined by Contest Sponsors in their sole discretion).
- Meet and greet with at least one (1) of the Toronto Maple Leaf players. Location, time and player(s) to be determined by Contest Sponsors in their sole discretion.
- $3,000 CDN spending money for the winner.
Due to the nature of the promotional prizing, no alternate date for the game is available. All incidental costs and expenses not specifically included above, including, without limitation, transportation to and from the hotel and Madison Square Gardens, medical insurance, gratuities, taxes, souvenirs, food and beverages, items of a personal nature, are the sole responsibility of winner and his/her guests. In the event the winner and/or his/her guests cannot participate in any element of the Prize, for whatever reason, any unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited.
No financial compensation will be made when or if actual value of the prize is different from approximate retail value quoted in these rules.
Prize winner and designated guests must participate in all aspects of the Prize (ie, winner cannot have different guests for different aspects of the Prize). All travel arrangements, accommodation, scheduled events and other aspects of the itinerary will be arranged by the Contest Sponsors in their sole discretion. Selected entrant and guests must be able to travel on the dates and at the times designated by the Contest Sponsors or such prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate entrant.
Prize winner and guests must follow all directions of Contest Sponsors and/or event organizers. Failure to do so may result in termination of their participation, or continued participation, in the Prize. Prize Winner and guests are responsible for all required travel documentation and must be free from any legal restrictions on their ability to travel or otherwise participate in the Prize. Selected entrants and their proposed guests must hold and present to Contest Sponsors proof of valid travel documentation within forty-eight hours (48) of initial contact with the selected entrant. Failure to produce such documentation within the forty-eight hours (48) hour period will result in the disqualification of the selected entrant and the Contest Sponsors may select another entrant from the balance of entrants. The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any costs, expenses or inconveniences if Prize Winner and/or guests are denied entry into the United States. Should the Prize winner and/or his/her guests be denied entry to the United States for whatever reason no make good prize will be awarded. The Prize winner and/or Prize winner’s guests may be required to present a valid major credit card in their respective names upon hotel check-in to cover any expenses incurred above and beyond standard room charges.
DRAW
- A random draw will be made at approximately 2:00 pm on January 16th, 2009 at Rogers’ offices at
One Mount Pleasant, 4th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4W 2Y5 by a representative of the Contest Sponsors from among all entries received during the Contest Period. The Selected entrant will be contacted by telephone within twenty-four (24) hours following the draw by the telephone number provided on the Contest entry form.
- If a selected entrant cannot be reached within seven (7) business days, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, fails to produce the required travel documentation for the selected entrant and their guests, declines the Prize, or fails to return the executed release of liability forms as may be specified below, Contest Sponsors reserve the right to select another entrant or to cancel the Prize.
The Prize must be accepted as awarded and no prize substitutions of cash or otherwise or transfer of the prize will be made, provided that the Contest Sponsors may make prize substitutions of equal or greater value.
To be declared a winner, a selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time and return signed release of liability and acknowledgment forms for the selected entrant and his/her guests as required, and within the time frame specified, by the Contest Sponsors. Winner’s guests cannot be changed after the liability and acknowledgment forms are received. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of Prize. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsors and/or their advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.
No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. The name of the winner will be posted online www.mapleleafs.com/contests or alternatively, send a postage-paid, self-addressed envelope on or before the Contest Closing Date to:

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the draw prior to the Contest Closing Date. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, abusive, or have been submitted through illicit means, or using any method that artificially increases the odds of winning, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsors, without further notice, at their sole discretion. Contest Sponsors take no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsors and will not be returned.

By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsors, the National Hockey League and its Member Teams, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, governors, agents, their advertising and promotional agencies, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the "Released Parties") from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the award of and participatrion in, the Prize. The winner acknowledges all risk of damages, injury or other loss incidental to any game for which tickets are issued, whether occurring before, during or after the game, and hereby voluntarily agrees to assume the same. The winner releases Contest Sponsors, their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns from any and all liability resulting from any incident related to participation in this contest and/or the grand prize. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to refuse admission and/or to expel from the premises and/or participation in the Prize any person whose conduct is deemed by them to be objectionable. Expulsion cancels the prize for the offending individual(s) and the individual(s) thereupon forfeit(s) all claims with respect to the Grand Prize. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by the Contest Sponsors. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the Contest. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
Contest Sponsors assume no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.
The Contest Sponsors may terminate, modify, suspend or withdraw from this Contest (and/or any aspect thereof, including methods for selection of the prize winners), in whole or in part, at any time without notice for any reason, without liability, at their sole discretion, including, without limitation the delay or cancellation of the National Hockey League game for which the Prize is awarded. In the event a substitute prize is awarded, such prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise.
Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest, or any portion thereof, should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Rogers reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including, without limitation, criminal prosecution.
The Contest Sponsors shall not be responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or servers, computer software problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website and assume no liability for damage to entrant’s or any person’s computer or mobile phone resulting from participating in the Contest.
If the identity of an entrant is disputed:
- For online entries: the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof of being the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search.
- For text message entries: the selected entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the mobile phone number at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is the natural person who is assigned a mobile telephone number by a wireless provider, telecommunications carrier or other organization responsible for assigning the submitted mobile telephone number. Selected entrants may be required to provide the Contest Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the mobile telephone number associated with the selected entry.
